Beyoncé for H&M

The Queen B sure hasn't let having a baby stop her from continuing her reign. Back in the clothing game, we will see if the style of this line is reminiscent of her House of Dereon days, or if it will actually be something stylish people will wear.

Below is the article from H&M. And if her new tracks are anything to go by, I wouldn't hold my breath for an amazing collection.

The face of H&M’s summer campaign will be the global superstar Beyoncé. She will be wearing pieces from the H&M summer collection inspired by her style. It was shot on the beaches of the Bahamas and features both a print campaign and a commercial.

“I've always liked H&M's focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements -- fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial,” says Beyoncé.

Beyoncé has worked with the in-house design team at H&M to create the perfect pieces for the heat of summer. Included in the collection are also garments – among them a tie-dye bikini – 25 percent of sales of which will be donated to H&M for Water. H&M’s initiative with WaterAid has so far raised £2,650,000 since 2002.

The campaign images were shot in Nassau, Bahamas by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, while the commercial was directed by Jonas Åkerlund and is shot like a music video. It will be available to view online in its entirety, with edited versions for TV.

Phenomenon 2013

DZINE + PHENOMENON: Was a fabulous, party celebrating the artist's "excessive and exuberant" Kustom Kulture aesthetic. Featuring DJ DERRICK CARTER and an over-the-top LOWRIDER CAR display alongside some very interesting works of art. Definitely brought two worlds together that normally wouldn't have been in the same venue.

Chicago-based DZINE is a self-taught mixed media artist who investigates Kustom Kulture and its relationship to art, subcultures and the museum. His work re-thinks these diverse elements to develop his own language. Infusing his trademark visual and audio language, the artist uses the sculptural and artistic form of lowriding as a platform to explore his emotional relationship with culture and beauty. DZINE's work addresses these issues through a lens of spirituality, beauty, desire, faith, folklore and identity. Getting to chat with him about his latest exhibit and what it means to him, I was taken back into his childhood and things that represent his home life and upbringing. And what a colorful road he has been on to bring him to this point, sharing personal information revealing a lot about the man beneath. A very special mind and a pleasure to be around!
Hope you enjoy some of the pics I snapped!
